#buddhology 無門慧開（1183年—1260年），俗姓梁、字無門，浙江杭州人，宋代禪僧。 He wrote this poem > 春有百花秋有月， > 夏有涼風冬有雪； > 若無閒事掛心頭， > 便是人間好時節。 what I understand from this is that every season (every time) has its own beauty. ==The external environment can be always good and adorable if we don’t have worry in our mind==. 「春有百花秋有月，夏有涼風冬有雪」，春天的百花開了，秋天的月亮特別皎潔，夏天吹拂著徐徐涼風，冬天飄著皚皚白雪。一年四季，春夏秋冬的更替，就像我們一生中生老病死的過程一般。假如能正確面對生老病死的無常、榮辱得失的好壞，那麼，無時無處都能安詳自在了。[^not-good] [^not-good]: this is not a good explanation because the first two sentences are not about the cycle of seasons (life). If it is about cycle of seasons, it should be autumn => yellow leaves, summer => hot 「若無閒事掛心頭，便是人間好時節」，我們心裡常掛念一些和自己不相關的人、事，到最後，往往讓身心不得安寧。如果能對世間的功名富貴、利害得失，不過於罣礙，沒有了得失心、計較心，就是人間最好、最美的時節了。 He also said this > [[大道無門]]，千差有路；透得此關，乾坤獨步。
