## What Did You Do Today?
1. I woke up in the morning and I try to use my time well today. although I don’t think that my habit can be changed in 1 day. but I wrote [[1-2-3-4 Time splitting]] today and [[Feed Learning vs Active Learning]]. I hope that they are right.
> [!bible]- [2 Corinthians 9:6-15 - NIV](https://bolls.life/NIV/47/9/)
> Sowing Generously
> 1. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
> 2. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
> 3. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
> 4. As it is written:
“He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
> 5. Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
> 6. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
> 7. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
> 8. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
> 9. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.
> 10. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Then I went to have bible study with Terry. I bought Pad Thai for dinner. Brandon and Joe were here too. Brandon is fasting (but I was eating in front of him 😅).
Joe ask Terry about a lot of questions which check his relationship with God but he doesn’t feel God at all. He also feel unmotivated to get rid of the sins and bad habits. Brandon also challenged him to have a conversation with his friends many times but Terry is just reluctant to do it. We told him the stock market analogy, hoping to make him realise the important thing in his life. Then Joe ask who Terry loves. He answered himself and his parents (although he didn’t spend enough time with his parents). Then Joe and I think that Terry doesn’t know how to love. When we are desperate and want to end this study with a prayer walk. I said I want to lead the bible study with a change in direction. I want to teach Terry how to love and how to be humble.
So I show him this video → [[What is true love?]]. I told him that God is love. Whoever doesn’t know love doesn’t know God. Yes indeed there are a lot of rules in the bible but all that are distraction. I want to drag Terry back to the idea of “love”. To love, he need to learn how to give. Because God already did an example to us. Jesus is the best gift to mankind. And learning how to give is counter-intuitive and against human nature. Human tends to be selfish. Therefore to learn how to give, he must learn how to be humble first. If Brandon is his friend that he should at least trust Brandon’s way once.
> [!bible]+ [John 3:12 - NIV](https://bolls.life/NIV/43/3/)
> 12. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
> [!bible]+ [1 John 4:13-18 - NIV](https://bolls.life/NIV/62/4/)
> 13. We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
> 14. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
> 15. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
> 16. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
==God is love==. ==Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.==
> 17. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.
> 18. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
He felt encouraged and I am glad he understands. Joe feel like this message is really and I should do this on Tomorrow devo as well because it relates to giving too. Then Joe drove me back.
## How Do You Feel?
I feel not very productive today to be honest but I am glad I can encouraged Terry and help him understand a little bit more about the bible.
