Challenging Obedience: Tui and Kira discuss the challenges of obedience in following Jesus. They emphasize that it is a lifelong journey, and sometimes doubt and uncertainty may arise. However, they highlight the importance of persevering and trusting in God's plan. 2. Shocking Worship: They discuss the disciples' reaction when they saw Jesus after his resurrection. Some worshipped him, while others doubted. They emphasize that doubt is not necessarily unbelief but can be a natural response to something remarkable. They encourage embracing worship and faith, even in the midst of uncertainty. 3. Realizing Authority: Tui explains how Jesus, after his resurrection, declares that he has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. He distinguishes the authority of Jesus from the flawed human authority that often leads to abuse. Tui highlights the significance of recognizing and accepting Jesus's authority as a reason to follow him. 4. Making Disciples: Tui and Kira stress the importance of making disciples, spreading the teachings of Jesus, and baptizing new believers. They share stories of their own experiences in leading others to Christ and note that discipleship involves various roles and gifts within the church. 5. Continuing Education: Kira talks about the importance of ongoing learning and growth in faith. She shares how transitions in their ministry journey helped her to learn more about herself, to detangle her identity from her role, and to rely on God's grace and love. 6. Everlasting Presence: They conclude by reminding the audience that Jesus promises to be with his followers always, even till the end of the age. They encourage reliance on God's presence in times of both joy and suffering, knowing that he is faithful and will never leave or forsake them. Then we go to have leadership meeting in Hammer’s party room. We get some sushi to eat there. On the leadership meeting, people ask Tui a lot of questions about leadership in christianity and he and Kira is willing to share. One thing that they emphasize is that ==we need to “push” if we want something to happen==. “push” means keeping praying until something happens. It makes sense because keep praying will reenforce our mind and make sure that we are focused on getting it and it also make clear to God. He also talked about building a loving church instead of a big church. When people feel warmth and love, other people will be encouraged to come. Then Joe drove us back. ## How Do You Feel? I feel encouraged by the sermon because Tui delivered a powerful speech. I also learned a lot from the leadership meeting. Natalie is encouraged too.
